Are there really unique corporate gifts? Everybody is claiming
that their gifts are unique and are the best corporate gifts
that you can find. With that objective in mind, I have been
searching the Internet tirelessly to bring them to my customers.
The searches are long and tedious and the results are not very
convincing. At the end of the searches, I can only conclude that
ones' man meat is another's' man poison. The definition of
unique corporate gifts is very subjective and it depends on how
active have you been searching for gifts for your customers? The
Internet is simply too big and its like finding a needle in a
haystack!
What set off the search for these unique gifts for people are
because you want to set your gift different from others? Even if
I could bring you some gifts that I personally think that they
are unique, it might not appeal to you and for that matter not
unique at all because you might have seen that gift somewhere
before.
Therefore instead of searching high and low for such ambiguous
gifts, why not consider a personalized gift? The whole idea of gift
giving is to build that special business relationship.
Competitions are getting stronger each day and what really help
to grow your business is not just on your products. It's more
with the relationship you have with your business partners and
that is the X-factor that we hope to acquire.
Have you ever wonder why certain project always goes to a
particular company instead of yours? Well, apart from the
branding that they have created, I would conclude that your
competitor knows the decision-making executive personally. For
all we know, that executive is a wine lover and your competitor
has been pampering him/her with all sorts of rated bottles of
wine!
It's never too late for anything and its time to win back some
competitions! Strike up more conversations with the customer.
They might have expressed a desire for certain gift. It could be
as ordinary as a pen or MP3 player. Getting those gifts are not
only practical for the recipient but also shows how much you
listen and understand that person. That will surely bring a big
smile to the recipient and your relationship one big leap
forward!
Anyway, this is not the end of the search for unique corporate
gifts. It's actually the beginning. I will be constantly on the
